Koh Wai

Koh Wai is a small island with several bungalows. There is NO electricity on the island, but some bungalows gets electricity by generator from 6 to 11 p.m.

Koh Maak

Koh Maak is a smaller island in the Koh Chang archipelago. It has just 16 square kilometers of surface area, but is also a part of the Koh Chang Marine National Park.

Guest accommodations have been set up on the sandy shores. Aprotection against sandflys is recommended. The island is serviced by speedboat from the mainland (Laem Ngob pier), transfer times are estimated to be 45 minutes each way. From Koh Chang you can reach the island within about 1 hour by speed boat from Kai Bae pier or from Bang Bao pier.

Koh Kood

The 4th largest island of Thailand by size, is also southernmost within the Koh Chang archipelago of islands. Beautiful beaches and a hilly interior, covered by tropical rain forest, await the visitor here. Accessible by a wooden vessel, which operates as a passenger ferry, a 5 hour ride can be anticipated to Koh Kood. Private speedboat charters are possible and reduce the transfer time to 90 minutes each way. Speed boats from Koh Chang needs about 2 hours to reach Koh Kood.

Koh Kood is unfortunately a malaria-endemic zone, so active precaution or prophylactic treatments are needed, in order to protect oneself from the mosquito-borne infectious desease
